Comprising: A) Curved steel blade with large single fuller, partially blued and decorated with engraved gilt designs, including a patriotic arms motif on each side. One side marked "Warranted" under languette. Brass hilt with eagle head pommel and quillon. Reverse-P knuckle bow with relief cast arms motifs. Right languette features an eagle with "E. PLURIBUS UNUM" banner, the left languette is plain. Wood grip with replaced leather panels. Silver plated brass scabbard with engraved borders and decoration. Good condition; blade, possibly associated, retains about 85% bright blue finish, gilt, and original polish. No traces of silver remain on hilt, which shows some wear and light scattered marks, grip replaced. Scabbard retains 90-95% nickel finish, some minor scuffs and light marks, back has a couple dents. B) Straight single fuller steel blade, etched with patriotic and arms motifs. Brass hilt with eagle pommel, relief eagle on guard, and cast knuckle bow. Mother-of-pearl grip scales wrapped on with brass braided wire. Brass scabbard with engraved designs. Good condition; blade retains a grey patina with some spotting and wear. Hilt has loose guard and retains a mellow patina, showing some minor wear. Left grip has some minor age cracks. Scabbard excellent with a few minor marks. Complete with wooden case lined with red velour. Scattered marks from use and scratches on exterior.
