The Remington 700 action was based on the Enfield design. It has become one of the most reliable and respected sporting rifles ever built. This is the rather scarce carbine version with short barrel. Features adjustable target rear sight, ramp front sight, scope base, blued finish, pistol grip checkered walnut stock, Monte Carlo comb, Pachmayr red waffle pad and sling swivels. Gun retains approximately 98% original blue. Stock is excellent with a few minor impressions. Fine bore and action.
