Frame was manufactured from February 1955 to end of production 1957. Has a Springfield Armory replacement bolt, Springfield April 1964 replaced barrel, replacement Springfield trigger group and hammer. BME rear sight. ME reading: 1. Strong, clean rifling. Has a field replacement stock with a block "P", no circle or cartouche. Retains a majority of the arsenal reapplied green-grey parkerized finish. Comes with a military style green sling. Excellent as arsenal rebuilt with replaced parts.
