Two stage, smooth bore barrel with small front and rear sights, top flat stamped "H LAUDENSCHLAGER". Flat percussion lockplate marked "LEMAN LANCASTER". Plain walnut half stock with brass furniture, steel rib mounted below barrel and wooden ramrod. Good condition; barrel retains a brown patina with some edge wear, light wear to markings and pitting around bolster at breech. Lock retains a light gray patina, has been cleaned and now has scattered areas of pitting and only partially visible markings. Stock is good, with scattered marks from use and as refinished. Rib is separated from barrel near ramrod entry point.
