This is a put-together parts gun. Frame has all matching numbers and retains approximately 20% blue mixed with patina. Unnumbered checkered walnut grips and unnumbered aluminum base magazine. Slide chamber is dated 1916. Barrel and slide are numbered 3355. Ejector is numbered 03. Toggle is stamped "S/42 03". It appears that an all matching S/42 was put on an existing re-blued slide and barrel, of which 95% of the refinish remains over some rough patches of metal. Very good bore and action.
