Manufactured 1927 at the Nagoya Arsenal. Features early type knurled cocking knob, blade dovetail to base front sight, rear sight milled into frame, polished bolt, nickel plated magazine with aluminum base (nine grooves and serial No. 672), and mahogany grips with 25 serration. "Guadalcanel 1-20-43" written inside both grip panels, one in pencil and one in marker. Matching number 770 on frame, cocking knob, magazine catch, locking block, and trigger guard. Barrel is stamped 226. Fine bore and action.
