Manufactured March 1943 to June 1943. The barrel is a Springfield May 1950 replacement. Bolt is stamped "D28287-12SA S-B10", proper bolt number but wrong heat lot number. Trigger guard is stamped "D28290-12-SA" which is proper. Proper hammer stamped "C46008-5 SA". Stock is replacement with no cartouches of any kind. Hairline crack on left side above magazine, 3-1/2", otherwise very good to excellent. Replacement sight stamped "W". Typical post-World War II rebuild that has matching frame and trigger group. Retains majority of the green-grey arsenal parkerized arsenal refinish. Neither muzzle nor throat gauge registers, in dire need of new barrel.
