Stock band is stamped "GR" with crown "ENFIELD 1917 SMLE III". Bolt has "JSM" broad arrow inspector mark. Military rear sight with protective ears to 2,000 yards. Front sight protected by ears. Single barrel band with front metal forend and bayonet attachment. Brass right on right side of stock and brass buttplate. Bolt is numbered 6177. Frame is basically grey patina, as are most of the metal parts on this rifle. Stock is excellent with the exception of a hairline crack on left side. Fine bore and action.
