This Browning Lightning was manufactured in 1963. All steel surfaces have been parkerized. Blued steel barrels with vented matte rib and single white bead. Engraved boxlock action marked "Lightning / BROWNING". Features include ejectors, non-automatic safeties, thumb selector and single trigger. Varnished walnut semi-pistol grip buttstock with flat knob, checkered panels on each side of wrist and adjustable buttpad. Checkered beaver tail forearm of a darker color. Excellent condition; as refinished. Bore is excellent and shiny. Action tight. All refinished steel components retain 99% parkerized finish with a few minor storage marks. Center bead is missing. Stocks very good with scattered scratches and marks from use.
