Circa 1835-1838. Relief ground clip point blade with sharpened false edge, marked "J. ENGLISH & HUBERS (reverse) SHEFFIELD WORKS, 2". Waisted ivory handle with nickel silver ferrule and pommel, escutcheons and raised studs on both sides, turned iron ball-end guard. Leather sheath with incised decorations, nickel silver mounts, frog stud decorated with boar’s head. Blade with nearly full original polish, only light spotting and sharpening, ferrule a bit loose, minor age checking to handle. Ex. W.R. Williamson, Hank Lesch, Mike Worley collections.
