The Model 64 was introduced in 1933, produced until 1957, and is serial numbered within the 1894 range. This example was manufactured in 1951. It is a deluxe model that features full round barrel, half magazine, Winchester sporting rear sight, ramp front sight with hood, blued finish, deluxe pistol grip checkered dark walnut stock with Winchester grip cap, checkered fore and aft, original factory Winchester sling eyes, rakish pointed fluted comb and Winchester steel checkered buttplate with teet. Remains in near mint condition inside and out. Retains virtually all of the original blue on all metal parts. No muzzle wear. Even the buttplate retains all the blue except for toe. Wood has a couple minor storage impressions. Strong, clean bore and perfect action. Nice enough for a box.
