This lot consists of a portrait of the seventh President of the United States, President Andrew Jackson. The President is depicted as a young man, with dark hair and only some gray pieces throughout. He is dressed in early colonial America garb and the manner in which they are painted is reminiscent of early American painters. The paintings were not removed from their frames for examination. Normal wear is present along with craquelure. The image is framed in a large gold frame with minor carving.
