This pastel scene was done by artist Dietz Edzard, dated 1955, as seen in the lower left corner of the image. Depicted in this image, there are four figures in the foreground of the image. Two women walk together on the right side of the canvas, while a woman donned in purple walks towards the left of the scene. Between these women, a man in a red jacket and black barrette, walks slightly behind the two women on the right side. In the background there are buildings, that resemble European buildings. Edzard has done a wonderful job capturing the scene and keeping the viewer intrigued. The strokes are light and fluffy, however they are strong enough to make the scene come alive. Overall the lot is in good condition with normal wear present. The image is framed and matted.
