Manufactured last quarter of the 19th century. All numbers match. Round blued steel barrels with solid matte rib with extension and single silver bead. Top of rib marked "REMINGTON ARMS CO ILION, NY, USA". Case hardened sidelock actions with external hammers. Double triggers. Two piece checkered walnut semi-pistol grip buttstock with Remington Arms Co. hard rubber buttplate and splinter forend with Deeley release. Good condition; action tight, hammer spring is excellent and bore is good with some scattered areas of light corrosion. Barrels retain approximately 80% of bled finish, mostly turned brown, with some heavier surface patina. Actions retain traces of case colors in protected areas, otherwise turned to a spotted grey patina. Trigger guard retains a brown patina. Stocks very good with a few scattered marks.
