Manufactured 1924. Standard production with blued finish and silver medallion checkered walnut grips. Full matching serial number stamped under slide. All proper era markings to include the large Colt pony on left rear. Last version of takedown arrow on the right side. 1924 was the first year that the checkered walnut grips with the flush nickel silver medallions was made standard. Overall, the backstrap is a grey-blue patina. Balance of gun retains approximately 90% original factory blue with overall high edge and muzzle wear. Sharp legends. Near mint grips. Fine bore. Magazine is stamped "CAL .32 COLT". Crimped base that started at serial number 165000, and has a tempered base and blued temper line. Nice, clean, early example with first year walnut grips.
