Manufactured 1944. This is a standard issue U.S. Officer's Model pistol with Parkerized finish and silver medallion checkered walnut grips. Right side of frame is stamped "U.S. PROPERTY". Has a last-type crimped base magazine, serrated slide lock and magazine catch, last-style square notch rear sight. Pistol is virtually as new, 99%, untouched and unfired. Comes in a period style military plain box No. 445064 (not matching). Serial No. 570345 was shipped on March 10th, 1956 and 570347 was shipped on July 10th, 1956. It would be nearly impossible to improve on the condition of this U.S. Property marked 1903.
