This lot consists of a large painting of a small town next to the water. Depicted in this painting are several reddish colored buildings with what appears to be a church and possible a school with the large steeples. The town is situated along a crisp blue river. Behind the town is forest with many trees that fade into each other. It appears as if the artist used the pointillism technique when painting this image. In the lower right corner, the artist signature is present. The painting is framed in a wooden gilt colored frame. Normal wear is present.
