This lot consists off a large landscape painting. Depicted in this landscape is a river that goes through a forest. The trees on either side of the river are a beautiful deep green color, as are the trees that are in the distance. Along the river, there are several boulders, perfect for someone to sit upon and enjoy a lovely sunny day. Along the right side of the image is a dirt road with marks in it noting that recently it was taken by some travelers. The artist signed and dated the painting in the lower right corner. Even though the signature is somewhat illegible, it is believe that this painting is by Louis Cruise, dated 1910. The image is framed in a large wooden gilt frame. Craquelure is present along with normal wear.
Condition: (Very Good - Excellent).
