Approximately 5,000 of these were built for sales to Brazil. Most Brazilian Lugers saw extensive use and few are ever found in near mint condition. All matching numbers. Brazilian proof on left side of frame. Barrel is numbered to gun but with no Brazilian proof. This gun has seen much use. Strong straw colors. Barrel and frame are a blue-grey. Grips straps and trigger guard are grey. Checkered walnut grips are not numbered. Frame is not cut for shoulder stock. Has a grip safety. Wood bottom magazine marked "9485". Decent representative example of an extremely rare Brazilian contract Luger.
