Approximately 32,000 made 1863 to 1865. This is a military inspected model. Standard finish was blue with walnut grips, now basically a grey patina. Inspector mark "D" is found in several places, as well as "C". Both walnut grips panels have a visible but not readable cartouche. Strong legends. Strong clean bore. Grips are very good with some wear at base. Gun indexes perfectly.
