Germany, Ca. 1915. Bisque shoulder heads incised "S H 1160". Glass inset eyes, delicately painted faces, closed mouths, original mohair wigs. Man has a cloth body with bisque hands and lower legs with two strap painted shoes. Lady has a “cone” lower body, cloth upper torso and arms, bisque hands. They are dressed as Marquis and Marquise in gorgeous satin and lace costumes. Light overall just, and some deterioration to veil.
Condition: (Excellent).
