Comprising: A) Model 1840 Non-Commissioned Officer's Sword with Scabbard. Straight blade stamped "U.S./G.K.C./1864" and marked with Ames markings. Standard cast brass hilt and grip. Complete with black leather scabbard brass mounts. Very good condition; blade has scattered spotting and markings show some wear. Hilt retains mellow patina. Scabbard very good, town near drag and nearly separated, mounts retain mellow patina, some dents in drag. B) Another 1840 NCO sword, as described above, but without scabbard and retaining dark patina overall. C) Model 1840 Musician's Sword by Ames. Straight blade marked "US/T.K.L./1864" and on other side with Ames markings. Standard cast brass hilt and grip. Very good condition; blade retains a grey patina with some scattered dark spots and pitting. Hilt with a few scattered marks and mellow patina with some darker areas.
