Savage built this exquisite commemorative in 2008 in a series of 1,000 rifles to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Model 10 bolt action sporting rifle. This deluxe version features high polish factory blue finish on barrel and action, gold bands at muzzle, double stock bolt, gold adjustable trigger, high polished blued magazine floorplate, deluxe checkered oil finished walnut stock with deluxe checkering, black forend tip, Monte Carlo comb, rollover cheek piece and solid black rubber recoil pad. No factory sights. Factory drilled for scope with no filler screws. "SAVAGE ARMS" with gold border on left side of frame. Floorplate has Indian head with "50TH ANNIVERSARY 1958 - 2008 1 OF 1000". Pistol grip cap has black and gold Indian head. Jeweled bolt has never been on gun. Comes in a deluxe steel-reinforced carry case with all paperwork. Embroidered "SAVAGE ARMS" on outside and comes in original shipping crate.
