Top of the barrel is dealer stamped "E. Whistler Strand London". Frame is stamped "W.G. Model 1892". Left side of frame has the Webley patent with the winged bullet. An example of this model can be found on page 84 and 85 in the book "The Webley Story" by Dowell. It is a top break revolver with fluted cylinder, six shot, double action, blued finish, and two piece walnut grips with lanyard ring. The adjustable rear sight is attached to the release latch. Numerous British proof marks. Revolver retains approximately 90% reapplied blue finish mixed with toning and age freckling. Excellent grips are slightly shy to metal. Perfect action and strong, clean bore.
