Standard issue U.S. Krag bolt action rifle that has been updated with a Model 1901 rear sight. Cartouche can be seen on left side of stock but is unreadable. Barrel finish is a smooth mix of blue-brown patina. Some Nitre blue on extractor. Mottled finish on box magazine. Frame is grey. Stock is excellent with no cracks. Wrist has a perfect serif "P" at base. 50% blue-brown patina on trigger guard. Even the forend cap has a 50% mix of blue-brown soft patina. All three sling swivels. Strong rifling. ME reading: 1.
