Rifled bore, barrel stamped "P.S. JUSTICE / PHILADA" near breech. Top of muzzle stamped "P / 1921" and has two areas where sights were removed. Bayonet lug mounted on bottom of barrel near muzzle. Flat lockplate with tail section rounded, stamped with traces of "WICKHAM" markings and deeply “JUSTICE / PHILADA” in center. Unique brass trigger guard with sling swivel, small two piece patchbox, buttplate, lock screw escutcheons, three brass barrel bands and steel ramrod. Walnut stock. Good condition; barrel and lock retains a spotted brown patina with some corrosion near breech. Rear sight leaf is broken but present. Lock functions well and shows some minor pitting and wear to markings. Brass retains a mellow patina with some spotting. Stock is good, showing scattered marks from use, wear and a couple minor repairs.

CORRECTION: This lot is missing the front sight. Flayderman also calls this musket a type III P.S. Justice rifled musket.
