Slightly curved steel Spanish style blade with three thin fullers. Oval-shaped slotted brass guard with four piercings, integral with knuckle bow, which terminates in a ferrule at rear of grip. Solid brass globe pommel with small integral capstan. Octagonal bone grip with each face having a series of serrations. Very good condition; blade retains an even heavy brown patina with a few scattered sword nicks on edge. Hilt retains a mellow patina with a few light scattered marks. Grip good with nice brown patina, shows one large age crack on right side and some minor deterioration from age.
