Features laminated stock; hard rubber buttplate; stainless steel frame, barrel and bolt. Not cut for factory sights. Mounted with a Leupold 4x12 gold ring scope. Solid gold plate on right side of stock reads "Peter Riva Straight-Shooting Agent" and "Ruger & His Guns - 1996 Compliments of William B. Ruger". This was a presentation rifle was given from Bill Ruger to Peter Riva as a thank you for being the agent for his book, with R. L. Wilson, called: “Ruger & His Guns” published by Simon & Schuster and editor Micheal Korda in 1996. It is in near new condition inside and out. This beautiful custom stainless bench rifle may be one of the only gifts from Bill Ruger to ever be offer at auction and would make a great addition to any Ruger collection.
