All British proof marks. Stamped "MADE IN ENGLAND FOR EXPORT". Left side of frame is stamped "WW GREENER MAKER BIRMINGHAM ENGLAND". Right side of stock is stamped "GREENERS GP GUN". The Greener firm made this sporting single shot shotgun built on the Martini falling block frame and added walnut checkered buttstock and forend. Features composite black buttplate, gold owner's emblem in butt, blued barrel and single bead sight. Matching serial number on forend and frame. Fine action. Mirror bore. Wood is excellent, proud to metal with no cracks or chips. 80% blue on frame with some freckling. This is the first commercially made Martini Greener shotgun we have cataloged. Exhibits English style craftsmanship. Comes in a period canvas case.
