Very similar to the Sportsmen Model, the .22 Special is extremely scarce nine shot, top break, pre-war double action revolver with blue finish, case colored release and trigger, and checkered walnut two piece grips. Has the very early keyhole style front fixed sight. This scarce revolver has light muzzle wear. Still retains 98% original factory blue. Case colors on hammer. Excellent grips. Sharp checkering. As new inside. If you collect early H&R revolvers, this would be a very scarce model that would be hard to improve upon the condition.
