This lot consists of a painting of the Armbruster Hotel, depicted at night. While the street appears to be dark with several people walking by, the hotel appears to be alive. All of the windows are bright and inviting. On the second story balcony, a woman peers over the railing, appearing to be calling to the gentleman on the ground. While, this is happening a figure on the third story, sits at the window with it open, watching the night go by. On the lower right of the painting it appears that the building across the street notes that this is New Orleans, in 1815. The artists signature is present on the lower right as well, "P. Hearsey '92." The large painting is framed in a wooden frame with gold, grey and dark wood coloring. Please note that there are cracks in the frame. Overall the painting is in good condition with normal wear present.
