This lot consists of a framed self portrait done in pastel, of the artist Dana Van Horn, entitled "Self-Portrait with Head in Hands," dated 1988. Van Horn depicts himself with his hands holding either side of his face while wearing a melancholy look, as he gazes into the distance. Although he has a very melancholic look on his face, it is as if he does not have to say any words, the worry lines of his brow says it all. He dons a green t-shirt and blue jeans. On the verso of the image, there is a didactic present along with a sicker from the Sherry French gallery in New York City. The image is matted and framed in a wooden frame behind glass. Normal wear is present.
Condition: (Very Good - Excellent).
