This lot consists of a framed watercolor self portrait, of the artist Hans Moller, titled "Self portrait with red background," dated 1976. The portrait depicts Moller with a red background, red shirt and areas of his face tinted with red. He wears a black beret hat and black glasses with a yellowish green ascot. Different areas of his face are different colors. The artist signed the painting on the lower right of the image. The watercolor is framed and matted behind glass in a simple wooden frame. On the verso of the image, is the notes from the artist, along with a picture and flyer for his work when it was in Gallery 424 in Allentown, Pennsylvania. Overall the painting is in good condition with normal wear present.
