Leather high eagle helmet made by JM Migeod & Son, Philadelphia. Original black paint, four combs, original liner with "James McGuigan" written on it. Front shield is black, red background and white "1" and "Eagle Engine 1". Majority of paper label exists inside helmet bearing makers name. Also water marked (stamped) under rear brim. Separation on front and rear brim. Helmet condition fair to good, shield is in very good condition. Circa 1870.
