Manufactured in 1883. This is a standard early Winchester 1873 in the configuration that everybody wants. Features full octagon barrel, full magazine, Winchester sporting rear sight, has a Marbles front sight, walnut stocks, rifled buttplate. All metal surfaces are clean, soft grey brown patina. The magazine tube has a couple of minor dents. Stocks are excellent, proud to metal with no cracks or chips. Beautiful condition with 60% of blue on loading gate, sharp legends, judging by the nickel appearance on the frame this was a special order case colored model. Very good defined rifling. The classic Winchester model 1873 rifle.
