This set was produced in 1971 and it was the first time Winchester ever produced commemorative musket. Both are chambered for the .30-30 cartridge and feature walnut stocks and blued finish. The rifle was patterned after a Model 64 with half magazine, pistol grip stock, fluted comb and shotgun butt. Musket has a non-fluted comb, military curved buttplate, full length forestock with single barrel band and nosecap, and military front and rear sight. Both have the special engraving on frame and bear the large brass presentation plaque on left side. Both guns are as new in their original boxes with original sleeves and are housed in the original double shipping box with the Winchester NRA centennial set.
