Manufactured in 1918. This model is referred to as the military due to the square butt and lanyard ring, but this is a civilian pistol. Pistol has been custom engraved in fine scroll with punched out background. Retains virtually all the reapplied blue finish. The legends are sharp, sports a pair of excellent Colt logo two piece hard rubber grips. Has original magazine stamped Cal. 38 Colt. Fine case colors on spur hammer. Strong clean rifled bore. Very handsome as custom engraved retaining virtually all finish applied at the time of engraving.
