Manufactured 1971. The .45 nickel is considered fairly scarce with only 1,396 manufactured. Pistol has a light drag line, no sign of cylinder burn. Retains most of the nickel finish with some storage marks. There is a touch of bubbling on the trigger guard. Perfect bore and action. Includes original wood grips that are numbered 883 instead of 882 (factory error) and has a little chip on the left panel front toe. Now sports a pair of period Second Generation Colt black rubber grips that are vastly superior in aesthetics on this gun.
