This is a late Sixth Type with engraved roll died cylinder with Naval scene, lion and eagle. Has the six original nipples with machined safety pins. Octagon barrel stamped "E. WHITNEY NEW HAVEN". Features brass trigger guard and two piece walnut grips. Barrel retains 80% high polish blue. Case colors have patterned on loading lever. Cylinder is a dull blue-grey with nice scene. Frame has turned brown patina. Traces of color on hammer. Excellent original grips. Perfect action and strong bore. Indexes and locks up like new.
