Octagonal smoothbore barrel with swamped muzzle, marked on top flat with indistinct maker's mark. Miquelet lock with brassed face, full length wooden stock has a series of pierced and engraved capucines and several mother of pearl inlays and brass tacks. Fore end is wrapped with two brass sleeves. Good condition; lock and barrel contain a mostly brown patina with some edge wear and scattered areas of pitting. Stock fair with some splinters missing on each side of fore end, a few inlays missing and some scattered cracks and marks from age.
