Round smoothbore barrel marked on left side, near breech with British proofmarks, and with bayonet lug mounted on top, near muzzle. Flat flintlock lockplate in its original configuration, brass India pattern mounts, including serpentine "S" sideplate, full length wooden stock, with steal sling swivels, steel ramrod, and inlayed on top of wrist with bronze religious wrist escutcheon. Very good condition, barrel retains a brown patina, lock in original flintlock configuration and showing a spotted brown patina, brass is unpolished, stock shows some wear, minor cracks, and scattered marks from use.
