All numbers are matching. Manufactured in 1924, round blued London steel barrels with solid matte rib and single brass bead. Breeches marked "L.C. SMITH IDEAL GRADE/HUNTER ARMS CO. INC. MFRS FULTON, NY, USA". Action engraved with large ideal grade leaves and marked on both sideplates "L.C. SMITH". Features extractors, automatic safeties and double triggers. Partially figured walnut pistol grip buttstock with maker's hard rubber buttplate and checkered panels on each side of wrist. Splinter forearm with checkered panels and ebony cap. Excellent condition; as refinished, barrels retain nearly 100% of re-blued finish, left bore is excellent and bright and right bore has some minor corrosion near breech, barrel marking on top light. Action has been cleaned bright and shows some minor wear. Stocks excellent as refinished with a few light scattered marks.
