Standard issue. Barrel is a mix of blue and brown patina. Front barrel band has 80% original high polish blue, middle barrel band 50% high polish blue. Correct 1898 rear sight. Extractor has 50% of the high polish Nitre blue. Frame, plate and box are a blue-dark grey mix. 50% of the high polish blue on trigger guard. All three sling swivels. Partially visible but obscured proof "P" on wrist. Left side of stock has cartouche that is visible but not readable. Left side of stock needs some attention. There is a hairline crack that starts at buttplate on left side, 1" from top, that runs at a downward angle and stops at trigger guard. It's tight but it's there, any semi-qualified wood worker could repair and make virtually invisible with no great effort or cost, but this nice rifle definitely deserves that extra attention as all other aspects of this rifle are extremely nice. The forend wood is fine with no cracks. ME reading: +2. Strong visible rifling.
