Features straight downward bolt in the white with serial number B33183. Left side of frame is stamped "Mle 1892". No serial number stamped on frame. 33183 stamped on trigger guard and left side of stock. Walnut stock. Middle barrel band has large saddle ring. Forend cap with bayonet attachment. Front military sight missing blade. Rear sight to 2,000 meters. Frame retains 85% of the arsenal reapplied blue finish. 90% blue on barrel. Trigger guard and magazine are brown patina. Left side of stock has 2" crack at saddle ring and a spider-web repair crack at wrist. Strong rifling. Fine action. These weapons saw heavy use in the first World War.
