This is the last Mauser rifle produced in Yugoslavia at the Kragujebac Arsenal. It is fitted with a pistol grip stock. Has a German style front sight cover, H-style bayonet lug and bent handle with stock cut-out. Stamped with the Communist Yugoslavian crest on chamber. Left side of chamber is stamped "Preduzece 44". Matching numbers on chamber, barrel, bolt and stock. Floorplate renumbered to gun. Cupped aluminum buttplate not stamped. Number stamped on right side of stock is not a serial number. 95% of the original arsenal blue-black finish. Excellent laminated stock. Fine bore and action.
