This standard 98 has the Nazi eagle stamp on left side of barrel and frame that someone has attempted to peen out (still visible). Chamber is stamped "DOT 1944" for Waffenwerke, Brünn, Brünn Plant, Czechoslovakia. Right side of chamber has two Waffenamt stamps and top of chamber has one as well. All numbered parts are matching including front band, chamber, bolt, safety, buttplate, trigger guard and floorplate Stock not numbered. Import stamp on left side of sight shroud. Metal parts on are a blue-grey patina, never refinished. Laminate stock in excellent condition with usual dings. Comes with an original sling.
