Toriimatsu Factory of Nagoya Arsenal. Bolt is numbered 210, front barrel band is numbered 803, rear barrel and assembly 702, and 341 on metal takedown stock assembly. Inverted V front sight with guards, three screw front barrel band, plain rear barrel band, adjustable rear peep sight to 1,500 meters with anti-aircraft wings, partial royal mum on bridge (balance ground), two piece buttstock with full length hand guard, drain hole and dust cover, plum shaped bolt handle knob, knurled safety with notch indicator, two screw rear sling assembly, cupped edge sheet metal buttplate. All blued parts. Production of the Type II Paratrooper began in late 1943. Has a Kokura stamped blued bayonet with wood handle and blued metal scabbard. Dust cover is brown patina. Majority of blue on balance of parts. Fine bore and action. Wood is excellent. Nice example of a Paratrooper that obviously had some field replacement parts.
