This is a World War II Nazi issue standard Model Hi-Power double action semi-automatic pistol with standard rear sight, blued finish and two piece checkered walnut grips. Left side of frame and slide bear the Nazi eagle and Waffenamt "WaA140". Left side of trigger guard inspected "MR". Right side has serial number on barrel, frame and slide. Barrel is also stamped with Nazi eagle. Magazine is simply stamped "MADE IN GERMANY". Grip straps are in the grey. Balance of frame and slide retain approximately 70% original blue. Nazi eagle stamped on barrel is visible within the ejector port. Excellent two piece walnut grips. Strong, clean bore. Perfect action. Grips are excellent to near mint. Nice, early war, Nazi marked Browning Hi-Power.
