Browning Hi-Power was arguably the finest handgun used by the German military during the second World War. It is a double action semi-automatic, magazine fed with blued finish and two piece checkered walnut grips. It has the rare adjustable tangent rear sight adjustable to 500 meters and the wind adjustable front sight. Matching serial numbers on barrel port, slide and frame. Grips are not numbered. There is a Nazi eagle visible on barrel. Left side of slide has the Browning factory stamp along with Nazi eagle and Waffenamt "WaA140". This same Waffenamt stamp can be found on left side of frame along with Nazi eagle. Trigger guard has "MR" inspector stamp. Magazine not Nazi stamped. Grip straps are a smooth brown patina. Balance of gun retains 75-80% original Browning high polish factory blue with high edge wear and balance patina. Excellent grips with usual small dings. Strong clean bore and perfect action.
