Approximately 500-700 of these were manufactured in 1936 for the German Luftwaffe. Matching numbers with the exception of magazine (2797). "36" stamped on top of chamber. Toggle is stamped "HK" with anchor and "Krieghoff Suhl". The "LWaA" acceptance mark can be found stamped within the safety links, right side of frame, right side of rail, right side of barrel, bottom of barrel and left side of toggle. Has the typical strawed parts with the high polish factory blue finish. Sports Ritzmann checkered brown composite grips (page 45 in the Krieghoff book). Pistol shows the usual light wear on side plate, muzzle, and forward tip of rails; still retains 97% original factory finish. Grips are near mint. Fine bore and action. Holster is dated 1936 "Berlin" with Waffenamt WaA94. Loading tool is numbered 189. Beautiful, high condition, early Krieghoff.
